She catches a lot of attention thanks to the white hair shaved almost bald, complimented with the blue mohawk and fold over bangs across her head. As outstanding and punk as it might seem to others, she doesn't consider it anything special. Likely because her creamed over eyes can't see it.

Character background/history:

Skyy was born to a single father on Penculis. Her mother, whom died in child birth, was a tough woman who supported herself and married only out of her parents dying wish. Because of this Skyy's father wasn't very emotionally invested in her, and raised her more the way someone would take care of a distant cousin.
Thanks to this, a lot of emotional matters go over her head.

Throughout childhood her father always stressed the importance of standing on her own two feet and pursuing something with all she had. This advice confused her at a young age though, as she had been blind since birth. People in town no matter what she said would baby her, and take pity on the girl.
In time she began to resent the people around her, who constantly would treat her like a helpless child even far into her teen years. By the time she was old enough to work Skyy set out into town with a firm goal in mind. She would get a job, support herself without even her father's meager help, and show them all she wasn't so useless.

This was what turned her over to smuggling. Not many people were suspicious of a blind girl who stumbled around clumsily. From this she collected the money to live on her own. Respect never came, and the next level was sought out. Rather than risk her toughened skin on higher crimes, she turned to things people deemed impossible for her.
Piloting an aircraft. Truly, nothing made the men at the market laugh harder than her demanding to know the prices of their ships and parts. Once a sheet was made, she turned to work wherever it was offered.

At first her hands were clumsy. She couldn't see thieves as they tried to steal from shops, and she wasn't very good at physical labor. Jobs came and went until she couldn't find work from anyone but the traders and black market dealers. Yet again it was her blindness that left only crime open.
It took Skyy years to gather the money. But in time she managed, purchasing the lowest hunk of scrap metal the market had and dragging it home. It wasn't until she was twenty-eight in age that she had managed to repair it with her own two hands. Her hands could recall the shape of each part, the feel of the wires and the sensation of a tightened bolt or secure fuse.

The first attempt to pilot it was terrible. The second, even worse.
Skyy was a blind pilot, and it showed in the jerky dips and sways. She refused to abandon the attempts however, and over time her body memorizes the feel of the air around her. The sounds of the cabin became a gentle song, and after years she was in space, leaving home behind.

For at time she took to what shed always done, flying haphazardly and searching for work wherever able. Steadily this lead her to the job of her dreams; bounty hunting. With practice her skills as a pilot flourished, and with further upgrades her ship became something that didn't require sight.
All good things, though, must come to an end.
A job went wrong. She crashed, luckily close enough to a planet to fall into ground. The main cabin exploded, and while burnt and blind to the world around her, she was alive.

As always in life, Skyy rose once more to her feet.
It took time. Hard work. And more money than she thought possible to earn.
But with the unwavering determination she found her way back to the stars. With a new ship, and renewed faith in herself, she returned to the life of a bounty hunter.
Yet things weren't the same. Just like the smuggling, piloting was becoming too easy. She wanted a new way to prove everyone wrong. A new goal to chase.

This was when "The Star King" was born.
A rumor and celebrity, The Star King is a pirate that takes what he wants, from anyone who dares fly to close. Sporting an outfitted combat ship with more parts than one could ever hope to afford, he is known to appear from nowhere, destroying targets from bandits to cargo ships, and even on one rare occasion, a political transport.
Never seen before, he is known only through the stories others tell. And, almost ironically, his infamous name is known completly separate from Skyy's.

To the solar system, Skyy Chevalier is a gossip topic. A mere shrug of a pilot, only talked about for her blind status mixed with bounty hunter occupation. Yet to the galaxy The Star King is a ghost story come to life, threatening the safety of anyone not on solid ground.

Yet time has surely passed since her created persona's rise to fame.
Now, Skyy searches for the next level of challenge. What with rumor of the empire crumbling, who knows what she'll be after next.

Equipment: Her ship, which can cloak when used as "The Star King"s vessel. When landed she carries only the standard one-handed gun and her pilot and bounty hunting license.
